Flyway's reading period is September 1 to May 1.
Flyway considers unsolicited fiction, nonfiction, and poetry submissions. We are particularly interested in pieces that delve into the environment or human place, but submissions of any subject will be considered. We encourage simultaneous submissions, but please notify us if your work is accepted elsewhere.
Payment: 1-year subscription to Flyway.
Response Time: We make every effort to reply within four months, but our response time may occasionally be slower as we are entirely staffed by volunteers.
Copyright: Held by Iowa State University; reverts to author upon publication.
